1. ESL Program
The English as a Second Language (ESL) program is designed for learners who wish to improve their overall English proficiency. The course focuses on essential language skills, including Listening, Speaking, Reading, Writing, Vocabulary, Pronunciation, Conversation, and Grammar.
The number of classes and study intensity will vary depending on the specific course package selected by the student, offering flexibility to suit different learning goals and schedules.
One-on-One Classes
One-on-one classes give students the opportunity to dive deeper into each topic, as teachers can provide focused, personalized instruction based on each learner’s strengths and weaknesses in specific language skills.
Group Classes
Group classes offer a dynamic environment where students can interact with peers from various countries. This encourages natural communication and helps improve English speaking and listening skills in real-world, multicultural settings.
Basic ESL

2.IELTS Program
This course is designed to enhance students’ English skills in preparation for the IELTS exam, while also improving their ability to communicate in everyday and professional contexts.
Teachers focus on correcting mistakes through practice tests and targeted exercises, helping students strengthen their performance across all four IELTS components. Instructors use strict evaluation standards to ensure that scores accurately reflect the students’ English proficiency according to the IELTS scoring framework.
Guaranteed IELTS Program – Exclusive at MK in Iloilo, Philippines
MK offers the only Guaranteed IELTS Program in Iloilo, Philippines. If a student does not achieve their target score, MK will provide free additional classes until the desired score is reached.
Please note that students are still responsible for accommodation and other personal expenses, such as meals, electricity, water, and visa extension fees.
As part of the guaranteed program, students are eligible for one free official IELTS test fee if they meet the following conditions:
- At least 90% attendance in both regular and self-study sessions
- 100% participation in mock tests (held four times a month)
- At least 90% attendance in required classes over the 12-week period
3.Internship Program
This program is designed to help students gain real-world work experience while using and improving their English skills in professional environments. Currently, MK is the only language academy in Iloilo, Philippines offering this unique internship opportunity.

4.Business English Program
This course is designed for learners who want to strengthen their English skills for professional and workplace settings. Students will study industry-specific vocabulary and essential business materials such as contracts, reports, and presentations. In addition, the course covers practical, real-world topics including finance, marketing, email writing, and telephone communication.
Entry Requirement:
Students must have at least a 3A (Intermediate Lower) English level to enroll in this program.
5.TESOL Program
Students enrolled in any ESL or IELTS course at MK can choose to add the TESOL Program, which includes two Saturday sessions per week in collaboration with West Visayas State University—one of the top universities for language teacher education in Iloilo.
The program lasts a minimum of 4 weeks.
At the end of the course, students will undergo a teaching demonstration and a final exam to qualify for the TESOL teaching certificate.
This program is ideal for those who wish to pursue a career in English teaching or gain internationally recognized teaching credentials
6.Summer Camp Program
The MK Summer Camp runs annually from June to August, offering 4-week, 6-week, and 8-week camp options for young learners aged 9 to 17.
Participants will enjoy a unique and immersive learning experience in an English-only international environment, where they not only develop language skills but also engage in cultural exchange with students from countries such as the Philippines, Japan, Korea, and Taiwan.
Through a blend of classroom learning and real-life interaction, the summer camp helps students grow in confidence, communication, and global awareness.
The MK Summer Camp features an exciting and well-rounded schedule that combines 1:1 English classes, group lessons, sports, and cultural experiences including travel, local traditions, and cuisine.
Through this enriching experience, students become more confident in using English, develop independence, improve their physical well-being, and gain valuable exposure to diverse cultures.
7.Working Holiday Program
This program is designed for students aged 18 and above who are preparing to work in English-speaking countries. Participants will gain insights into both daily life and workplace culture in the Philippines.
The course provides intensive English training, focusing on key skills for job searching. Students will learn how to write cover letters and résumés, and will receive a local internship certificate upon completion, adding valuable experience to their professional profile.
8.Family Program
MK offers a flexible Family English Program with three options:
- Guardian Course: Includes 4 one-on-one ESL classes, with the option to transfer 1 class to a child (resulting in 3 classes for the guardian and 1 for the child). The guardian studies ESL at a level appropriate to their skills.
- Children’s Course: A standard English program for young learners.
- Advanced Children’s Course: Designed for children who already have a foundation in English and want to progress to higher levels.
