International English Summer Camp 2025 in Johor Bahru – Singapore: ESL Learning, Cultural Experience & Confidence Building
In the summer of 2025, Fly Future successfully organized the International English Summer Camp in Johor Bahru – Singapore, offering two program options: 1-week and 2+2-week experiences.
Nearly 20 Vietnamese students aged 8 to 17 joined this exciting journey filled with learning, connection, and personal growth.
More than just an ESL program, this international summer camp provided students with opportunities to explore new cultures, develop life skills, and broaden their global perspective.
Highlights of the International Summer Camp 2025
ESL Learning with International Teachers
Students were placed in level-appropriate classes, focusing on communication, quick response, and presentation skills to build real-world English confidence.
Cultural Exploration Across Singapore
Students visited iconic destinations such as Merlion Park, Marina Bay Sands, Gardens by the Bay, Universal Studios Singapore, Science Centre Singapore, and National University of Singapore.
Sports & Team Bonding Activities
From swimming, beach volleyball, badminton to bowling and board games, students strengthened both physical health and teamwork skills.
Personal Growth & Independence
Beyond English learning, students developed confidence, independence, and adaptability while living away from home and interacting with international peers.
ESL Learning & Experiential Program
Each day of the ESL summer camp was designed with a balance between classroom learning and real-world experiences, allowing students to immediately apply what they learned.
For example, after studying vocabulary related to science and technology, students visited the Science Centre Singapore to reinforce their knowledge through hands-on exploration.
Evening presentation sessions became a key highlight, where students confidently presented and debated in English in front of peers and teachers. This helped them overcome language barriers and better prepare for future international study.
